Puna District Interfaith Memorial Day Service (May 25, 2019 from 10:00 a.m.)
Please join us to remember those killed in action who were from the Puna District. On the temple grounds in front of the church there is a monument dedicated to these brave soldiers that sacrificed their lives for our freedom. Let’s give thanks to them by taking the time to honor them.
Event will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. on the front lawn of the temple. This years guest speaker will be Dr. Peter Matsuura. The Hawaii County Band will play a prelude to the service and will play some songs during the service.
These are the names we recognize each year. If you know them or know their family, please invite them to attend the service. It’s so nice to see family offer flowers when the names are called.
