Every Tuesday starting February 23, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. join us on Zoom to read and discuss the Tannisho
Effective Tuesday, February 23, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. we will have a new online Zoom Buddhism Class. The class will be every Tuesday night thereafter.
We will be reading and discussing the reading of the Tannisho. This will be Part 2 and we will start from Chapter 11. If you did not attend Part 1 don’t worry you can still join us for Part 2.
The Tannisho is considered to be one of the most influential books about Shin Buddhism. Written by Yui-en, a disciple of Master Shinran, it chronicles their conversations during the emergence of Buddhism in Japan. The Tannisho helps us to capture the insights of Shinran, the founder of Shin Buddhism.
