On behalf of the Puna Spring Festival committee and with the support of the Puna Hongwanji Buddhist Temple Board of Directors we have 
decided in the best interest of our members and community we are canceling our upcoming Puna Spring Festival scheduled for Saturday, March 28. Our number priority is to ensure the health and safety of our community. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to hosting another event when everything has settled down.
Thank you to our 51 vendors (a wide variety of products, handmade, face painting, art, shells, t-shirts, children novelties, jewelry, much more), our very own talented local entertainers in the community, our Puna Hongwanji affiliate groups (were planning a wonderful variety of delicious food), and all the committee chairs that participated in 
planning the event. We appreciate you for willing to give your time to prepare and be at our event. We also appreciate the community who were looking forward to attend the event. We hope your schedule fits for our future events.
Please be take care. Let’s all do our part to be compassionate, understanding, be mindful and aware of our own thoughts and actions, and keep calm. It takes each and everyone of us to work together to ensure the spread of the Coronavirus doesn’t get out of control. Namo Amida Butsu
