In-Person and Online via Zoom Spring Ohigan Service / Recognition of the Keirosha’s / Shinnen Enkai (New Year’s) Gathering – Sunday, March 26, 2023 at 9:00 a.m.
On Sunday, March 26, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. we will be observing one of our six major services we observe yearly. This Sunday we will observe Spring Ohigan (other shore). The altars will be beautifully decorated with the special clothes (uchishiki). Rev. Satoshi Ka’imipono Tomioka will share the Dharma Message “For the rest of your life”. It will also be our Keirokai Service. We will be honoring, recognizing, and sharing our gratitude to 18 of our Puna Hongwanji members. These are our Keirosha who in 2023 are or will reach the auspicious age of 80 years old. After the service we will be having our Shinnen Enkai (New Year) gathering.
