BIBF Bodhi Day Service Online via Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin YouTube (12/6/20)
Each year the temples who belong to the Big Island Buddhist Federation (BIBF) take turns to host Hanamatsuri and Bodhi Day Service. This is a time for the BIBF temples to gather and listen to the Dharma together. Unfortunately, this year many things have changed and we cannot gather in the large groups we are used to.
The host temple this year is the Hilo Higashi Hongwanji. Rev. Marcos Sawada is the resident minister of Hilo Higashi Hongwanji. The Hilo Higashi Hongwanji has partnered with the Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin to bring the Bodhi Day service virtually.
The service will be lived steamed from the Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin YouTube channel and all are welcome to attend. The service is on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. You can logon from 8:50 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
