Spring Ohigan Service – Sunday, March 23, 2025 9:00 a.m.

Come join us for our Spring Ohigan Service on Sunday, March 23, 2025 at 9:00 a.m.  This is one of the six major services that we observe each year.  The term Ohigan translates to “the Other Shore of Pure Land.”  This occasion coincides with the equinox, when day and night are of equal length, symbolizing a harmonious moment to reflect on the teachings that assures our rebirth in the Pure Land as we take our final breath on this enduring shore.

Service will be available in person or online via Zoom.  You will notice that the temple altars will be adorned with the beautiful altar cloths, uchishiki.  The Dharma Message will be shared by Rev. Satoshi Tomioka.  His message will be “DIY”.

The Zoom link has been emailed out.  For those that would like the Zoom link, please email us at mpunahongwanji@twc.com no later than 7:00 a.m. on Sunday.
