Big Island Buddhist Federation Buddha’s Birthday (Hanamatsuri) – Sunday, April 6, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Hilo Higashi Hongwanji

There will be no service at Puna Hongwanji on Sunday, April 6, 2025.  We will return back to Puna Hongwanji on Sunday, April 13, 2025.

Please join us instead at Hilo Higashi Hongwanji, 261 Mohouli Street, Hilo, HI 96720.  We will be joining the Big Island Buddhist Federation (BIBF) for the Hanamatsuri Service (Buddha’s Birthday).    The service will be on Sunday, April 6, 2025 at 10:00 a.m.  All are welcome to attend the BIBF Hanamatsuri Service.  We will start at the temple and after the service is over everyone will move to the Social Hall for a program.

There will be brief messages from the ministers, a calligraphy station, Tanko Bushi accompanied by Puna Taiko, and many more.
