New Year’s Party (Shinnen Enkai) on February 1, 2026
Puna Hongwanji will hold its Shinnen Enkai (New Year’s Party) on Sunday, February 1, 2026 after Sunday Service.
February 1, 2026 will also be Scout Sunday. After the service is over we will all gather in the social hall for our Shinnen Enkai and Keirosha (those turning 80 in the year 2026) recognition. Tickets are on sale and ticket prices at the door will be slightly higher.
When we gather downstairs we will take a moment to recognize our honored Keirosha’s. Lunch will be served and there will be some other activities and prizes.
Ticket prices in advance and at the door are as follows:
- Adults $10 (advance/reserved); $15 (at the door)
- Students (ages 8-18) $5 (advance/reserved); $10 (at the door)
- Keirosha and children under the age of 5
