With the hurricane warning as Lala approaches the island we have decided to cancel our in-person service at Puna Hongwanji on Sunday, August 16, 2026. We want to ensure people stay off the roads and stay safe.
As long as we have power and internet up and running we will have the service online only via Zoom. The Sunday Family Dharma Service will be on Sunday, August 16, 2026 at 9:00 a.m.
The Dharma Message will be shared by Jenn Kurohara, Minister’s Lay Assistant. Her message will be “Sometimes the Dharma Come Out of the Oven”.
Everyone please stay safe! Your safety is our number one priority.
